Meet Your Inspector
Amanda is a Certified Professional Inspector (CPI) through InterNACHI and a Registered Energy Advisor (REA) through Natural Resources Canada.
She has completed hundreds of home inspections and energy audits.
Amanda started working in the home construction and renovation industry in the 1990s and worked for a general contractor in all aspects of home improvement for over 10 years. She has renovated 4 homes.
She holds a postgraduate degree in Business Administration (PgD Business), a Diploma in Technology Management and a Bachelor of Science (BSc). Before she focused her undergraduate degree on Science, she completed 3 years of Engineering studies, through a double major program at the University of Ottawa. She does her own home renovations, maintenance, repairs, landscaping and more.
Balanced Inspections
Together we will review a home's exterior, interior, space heating/cooling, water heating, electrical, plumbing and attic.
We substantively follow the International Association of Certified Home Inspectors (InterNACHI) Standards of Practice, inspecting visible areas of a home.
